SUMMARY:Lily's Podcasts to feature on Transmitter
DESCRIPTION:Lily’s Legacy podcasts will feature on ’Transmitter’ – a 1h radio show and podcast celebrating everything radio and podcasts:\n\nLink:\nhttps://www.resonancefm.com/programmes\n\n\nTransmitter\nNEXT EPISODE: 20:00\, WEDNESDAY 8TH DECEMBER 2021 \nLucia Scazzocchio from Social Broadcasts scans the digital soundscape every other month to bring you original sounds\, new voices and archive treasures. \n\n\nThe show is broadcast twice – Wednesday 8th December\, 8pm and repeated Thursday 9th December at 10am \n\nAnd then available as a podcast on Apple\, Spotify and all the usual podcast platforms: https://pod.link/1453170203\n\n\n\n\nAbout Resonance\n\n\nResonance is a groundbreaking 24/7 radio station which broadcasts on 104.4 FM to central London\, DAB to Greater London\, nationally on Radioplayer and live streamed to the rest of the world. \n\nThey have half a million listeners across their platforms.\n\n\n\n\n\nHow to find Resonance FM on your DAB radio?\nResonance FM is on the UDAB digital mulitplex\, broadcasting on DAB Frequency Block 9A in London. If you are tech savvy\nyou may be able to tune in this channel manually. If not\, tune in to Resonance FM by doing a Full Scan of your DAB radio. Here’s how you do this.\nFull Scan Stage 1: the set up\n1. Before scanning\, if you have a tuner\, make sure a DAB aerial is plugged in\, otherwise there is no chance of success. If you have a portable radio\, make sure the telescopic aerial is fully up and oriented vertically\, straight up.\n2. Keep away from sources of interference like computers and other digital equipment\, mains power supplies\, chargers\, LED lights\, etc.\n3. If possible place the radio as high as possible in the building and/or near a window.\n4. If in a car\, try to find a reasonably clear spot away from buildings if you can.\nFull Scan Stage 2: scan and save.\nNow you are ready to do the Full Scan of your DAB radio. In most cases\, you will see be a button marked “Scan” (sometimes “Retune” or similar). Follow these instructions:\n1. Press and HOLD the “Scan” button for six seconds. The radio’s display should now appear\, indicating “Full Scan.” (If you just push the button and let go straight away\, you may only get the short scan – which is no use as it only covers the frequencies in use by other radio stations.)\n2. Your DAB radio will then take a minute or so to go through a Full Scan of DAB frequencies.\n3. Next\, if it has picked up the signal\, the radio stations on the UDAB digital mulitplex will be visible in the main station list. (Note: usually this list is in alphabetic order.)\nUse “select” or the up and down buttons or rotary knob to browse the list.\n4. Go to Resonance in the list.\n5. Now save Resonance to your Presets. (In some cases this works like a standard car radio: you press and hold the preset button to store current station/station playing\, in that button). Consult the manual of your radio to find out how to store presets if that is not the case.\n6. Finally\, please let us know that you are receiving Resonance (or not) by emailing\ninfo@resonancefm.com – remembering to include your post code: this will allow us to report\nback to our engineers and to the regulator\, Ofcom\, who want to monitor this broadcast project\,\nwhich uses new and untried technology.\nMany thanks! We hope you enjoy Resonance on DA
